Disclaimer

This page contains the full disclaimer and disclosures for New Beginnings Addiction Center. Read it before using the placement service or relying on any content on this site.

Not a Licensed Treatment Facility

New Beginnings Addiction Center is a referral and placement resource for inpatient addiction treatment. We are not a licensed treatment facility, detox center, or healthcare provider. We do not deliver clinical care. We do not diagnose. We do not prescribe medication. We do not operate residential beds. Phone calls to (213) 600-5512 are answered by placement advisors who verify insurance and connect callers with licensed inpatient programs at third-party facilities.

Not Medical Advice

All content on this site — including pages describing substances, treatments, detox protocols, insurance coverage, and cost ranges — is informational only. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical questions specific to your situation. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911. For suicide or crisis support, call or text 988.

Referral and Affiliate Relationship Disclosure

Placement advisors may be compensated by partner licensed inpatient treatment programs when a caller referred by New Beginnings Addiction Center is admitted to that program. This relationship funds the placement service and is why placement is free to the caller and the caller's family. This relationship does not influence the clinical criteria placement advisors use to match callers — the match is based on the caller's clinical presentation, insurance coverage, and geographic preference. A caller is never referred to a program that doesn't fit the caller's needs. If no program in the New Beginnings network is a good fit, the placement advisor will say so and point the caller to appropriate outside resources (LA County SASH at 1-844-804-7500, SAMHSA at 1-800-662-4357).

Editorial and Content Standards

Every statistic published on this site is sourced to a government agency, academic institution, or peer-reviewed publication, with the source URL documented internally and linked externally where appropriate. LA County overdose data sources to the LA County Department of Public Health and the SAPC Fentanyl Overdose Data Report. California insurance citations source to the original statute text, the California Department of Insurance, and CDI press releases. Cost data sources to the National Center for Drug Abuse Statistics and American Addiction Centers analyses. If we cannot source a statistic, we don't publish it. Content is reviewed on a rolling basis; stale stats are replaced or removed. This page was last reviewed in April 2026.

Accuracy of Insurance and Cost Information

Insurance benefits, deductibles, and coinsurance are plan-specific and change annually. Every figure cited on this site is a range drawn from public sources — it is never a quote, guarantee, or binding estimate. The only way to know what your specific plan will cover is verification directly with your insurer, which placement advisors can run by phone in 15–60 minutes. Cost ranges for treatment change over time and vary by facility; published numbers are drawn from aggregated industry data and are not binding on any specific program.
